Unbeknownst to most, Brazilian butt lift carries a fatality rate comparably higher than other aesthetic procedures. A testimony to this are multiple news stories about people who have died after having the procedure even when they are in the prime years of their life.

Since Brazilian butt lift involves the transfer of one's own body fat into the backside, it has the possibility of inadvertently injecting those lipids into the blood steam. Once in the blood circulation, it becomes an embolus that can travel to vital organs and block blood flow, which is especially catastrophic if it happens to lodge in the heart, brain, or lungs.

This risk unique to Brazilian butt lift is unfortunately undisclosed to a large number of people taking the augmenting procedure, particularly those done by unqualified personnel. Of course, such risky procedure makes it imperative that people who want to undergo it look into the professional background of the plastic surgeon that will do it. However, that is not always the case as exemplified by documentaries about women who availed of cheap Brazilian butt lift only to die from it.

Brazilian butt lift must be done by a board certified plastic surgeon, however, there have been several instances of people who flew to other countries where they probably have no idea about the medical qualification of the plastic surgeon that performed the augmentation procedure. Death is not just the ultimate demise of Brazilian butt lift, if done incorrectly, damages can range from deformity to disability. Take the case of several women who flew overseas to do it cheap only to come home debilitated, or have a nasty case of infection.

So, what’s the take away? Brazilian butt lifts have multiple risks that can have life threatening consequences. Moreover, it is crucial that this procedure be done by trained professionals. However, do note that even under trained hands, this augmentation procedure still carries a deadly risk, something that has to be fully explained to those that are willing to be subjected to it.
