With it's fragrant aroma and sparkle, Hana Shampoo is a contender in Filipino's hair care. Why wouldn't it be, after all, it's a quality product at an affordable price.

Hana Shampoo Review

Hana Shampoo is aromatic, viscous, and pearly in color. If you enjoy engaging your sense of smell during bathtime, then Hana may just be amongst those you'll like. It comes in three flavors:
  1. Pink roses & Berries Scent
  2. Garden Blooms & Lychees Scent
  3. Spring Flowers & Apples Scent

Hana Shampoo has a thick lustrous consistency which I find luxurious. But, don't get me wrong, this is an inexpensive shampoo brand. I do like it's texture and feel.

It does it's job of cleaning and delivering hydration. By the way, it actually contains arginine which improves blood flow at the roots of the hair which is incredible.

The packaging

Hana Shampoo comes in a sachet, as well as a plastic bottle. There are quite many choices when it comes to it's plastic bottle version as it comes in 100ml, 200ml, and 400ml.

I find Hana Shampoo's package label really adorable with it's floral theme over a white background. Although, in the future I can imagine they'll probably change it as other shampoo brands do.

I guess they keep the pink leaf background to which the logo "HANA Shampoo" is imprinted part of the branding because they have an identical leaf on their Soft & Silky variant. Though, that's just my presumption.

If you are going to try out Hana Shampoo for the first time, I suggest you opt for the sachet since it's best to buy small at the beginning so you won't waste as much when you're allergic to the product or it simply does not match your taste. Of course, it doesn't mean that if a personal care product suits most people, it will automatically be right for you.

In my case, since Hana Shampoo is perfect for my hair, I purchased a large 400ml bottle online which comes with a freebie--a 180ml refill pack.

Speaking of refill packs, you can actually remove the cap of the Hana Shampoo bottle. What you do is you pull it up, in which you need to apply force. Don't worry that you'll break it because one it comes off, you can just pop it back in. By the way, you don't have to twist the cap to remove it, but you can do so just a bit to make the removal process easier.
