One grip into this Xiaomi device and you'll feel that there is real quality. The handle offers a good hand grip while the tripod is relatively stable.
The area at the bottom of the tripod, the mount of the phone, and compartment holding the Bluetooth shutter are all rubberized so it offers a non-slip and stable grip.
Meanwhile, the handle and the phone mount is mostly made up of plastic with a collapsible aluminum rod that offers a stable phone grip. It's great that the aluminum rod doesn't wobble.

The design
I really like the appearance of the Xiaomi selfie stick. It looks compact and well-made. Definitely better than the selfie stick I've once received as a freebie. Hey, the removable shutter button is so adorable.

The length
There's a lot of commentary that Xiaomi selfie sticks aren't that long. Very true. In fact, it only measures up to 420 mm when fully extended and about 7.48 inch when folded. Though only 16.5 inches long, this device still offers a stable support for your phone when mounted on it's tripod stand even when mounted at full height.

The phone mount can support both horizontal and vertical view. Perfect for both Instagram and Tiktok! You can even rotate the phone mount a complete 360 degrees. Although, I have to say that the phone mount is wide enough that it can get into contact with the power button or the volume control at the sides of your phone. That being the case, you may find that depending on the phone you're using, you may have to adjust it to be on the edge so as not to mess up with these buttons.

You can rotate the neck of the phone mount a full 360 degrees which makes sense considering that when you fold it, it's supposed to be facing the back of the handle so as not to get in contact with the shutter button. Meanwhile, when you unfold it, the phone clamp has to be in the same direction with the shutter button.
