Shark oil for skin care

I feel worried whenever I try a new skincare product. Some of them only works for a short while. Then there are those products that really messes up my skin which makes me feel bad in trying out the product in the first place. At times, it feels like finding a fantastic skincare product is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

There's a bunch of positive feedback about shark oil. What's awesome about this product is it can show noticeable results in as early as 1 week. Here's to sum up the good testimonies about shark oil.

Benefits of shark oil

Exfoliates

Shark oil is a topical ointment that delivers intense exfoliation helping you get rid of dead and damaged skin cells allowing fresh skin cells to flourish.

Removes acne marks

The bad thing about acne is they make you feel horrible about your face when they're there, but when they're gone, they leave dark spots which makes you feel really bad.

Shark oil helps you get rid of skin blemishes like acne marks, dark spots, hyperpigmentation, freckles, and age spots. There's a bunch of testimony claiming how shark oil lightens the appearance of skin blemishes.

Shark oil prevents darkening and pigmentation of the skin by counteracting melanin production.

Pimple eraser

Pimples are so annoying and often, you just want to pop them up just to end their existence. Applying shark oil directly into pimples helps dry out those zits quicker. Shark oil also helps get rid of those nasty blackheads and whiteheads.

Using shark oil does come with several risks.

The bad side of shark oil

Have you ever tried using a certain product and you thought it's pretty awesome. But, as the days went by, it's not living up to it's promises. There you have it, shark oil could be just another product on your list of "tried-and-abandoned" products.

Zits!

New breakouts. In my opinion, a small pimple is forgivable unfortunately, using shark oil brings such an intense exfoliation in which some of those dead skin cells end up clogging your pores leading to outbreaks of large pus filled pimple.

In my opinion, this is a major reason to discontinue a product. Why would you continue using a product that can potentially ruin your face. It's a paradox. You use shark oil to get rid of acne marks but in the process, you end up getting more zits.

Hey! I can't say with absolute certainty that you'll end up with a very bad outbreak. Each person's skin can react differently. It's one of those things you have to try to see the results.

Dry

Exfoliation renews the skin but it can also leave your skin dry, and flaky. A dry cracked skin under a layer of make-up can end up with a cracked appearance. I do suggest you use a moisturizer to counteract this.

White heads

Have you ever heard of white heads? These are called milia which are hardened keratin that clogs pores which are so hard to remove. There are several people who developed milia after using shark oil.

Stings!

Expect a stinging sensation on your skin when applying shark oil. However, if you have sensitive skin, shark oil can cause redness and itch.

Using shark oil on your skin makes it more sensitive to the damaging effect of the ultraviolet rays of the sun because it combats the protective effect of melanin (skin pigment). It will be a good strategy to use a broad spectrum sunscreen to counteract this.
