For the relief of clogged nose brought about by colds and runny nose, Muconase is a medicine that can be purchased in pharmacy using a doctor's prescription.
Muconase nasal spray is formulated with 0.65% saline solution (or known as salt) in a portable 30ml white plastic nasal spray bottle. Each bottle contains 0.02% benzalkonium chloride.

Indications for the usage of Musconase nasal spray isn't limited to nasal decongestion, but can also be used for the following nasal issues:
- Hydrates the nasal passage (such as the case in dry environment such as during the winter season)
- Loosening of dried mucus in the nasal passage
- Clears off the nasal passage after an epistaxis (medical term for nose bleeding)

How to use Muconase Nasal Spray?
Hold the Muconase nasal spray vertically over your nostril. Your index finger and your middle finger should be on either side of the shoulder of the nasal spray (located near the tip of the nasal applicator). Meanwhile, your thumb should be supporting the bottom of the nasal spray.
Then, press on the shoulder of the nasal spray with both fingers in place to release the medicine. Spray up to 2 to 4 in each nostrils 3 times a day or as directed by your physician. You can use a cotton to wipe off any excess drip.
If you are using Musconase nasal spray for the first time, make sure to prime the nasal spray first to let the solution fill up the tube inside the spray bottle.
Also, remember to remove the cap from the tip of the nasal spray when using it.
You might feel surprised if you are using the nasal spray for the first time because you are not accustomed to the sudden burst of fluid into your nose.
