Coffee is the most widely consumed stimulant in the world. Even it's aroma can jump-start your day. I'm gonna be sharing with you tips to make your every sip of caffeine both enjoyable and healthy.

1. Choose organic coffee beans. Millions of cups of coffee is being served around the world every single day. If you could imagine the staggering amount of coffee drinkers globally, think of how much pesticide has to be sprayed into these stuffs to make up with the demand.


2. The best time to drink coffee is in the morning, preferably before lunchtime. This way, coffee being a stimulant, will not mess up the quality of your sleep.


3. Never drink coffee in an empty stomach because this can lead to heartburn, ulcer, or gastritis.


4. Be mindful of the sweetener and creamer you add to your coffee. One cup of coffee contains approximately zero to one calories. 1 tablespoon sugar contains approximately 48 calories.  One tablespoon coffee creamer can contain about 40 calories. Commercially prepared coffees especially frappes can contain a lot more.


5. For healthy adults, it is recommended to consume no more than 400 milligrams of caffeine per day. That's roughly 4 cups of coffee. Drink coffee in moderation to avoid unwanted side effects like palpitation and nervousness.


6. If you order a cup of hot coffee from a coffee shop, it's usually served piping hot. Don't drink it right away. Blow before you sip. Let it's temperature become tolerable before you take it in your mouth.


7. Don't forget to drink water. Coffee is a diuretic which means it triggers you to to urinate more frequently. You don't want to get dehydrated, do you?

8. If you like to add twist to coffee, why not do it the healthy way? Instead of sugar and creamer, there's a lot of healthy stuffs you can add to coffee like lemon, cocoa powder, ginger, and peppermint oil.
