Silka Papaya herbal whitening soap tout that it can lighten skin in just 14 days, but don't expect any drastic result. This beauty soap, through it's papaya enzyme content, works by breaking down dead skin cells to allow new ones to dominate.
By exfoliating dead skin cells, it helps even out skin tone, fades blemishes, pimple marks, and skin pigmentation.
Gentle on the skinThough Silka Papaya soap acts as an exfoliant, it's actually relatively gentle and doesn't leave any visible peeling. If you have a dry skin, you'll be relieved that this particular brand of papaya soap leaves your skin soft and hydrated.
Though, when it comes to the face, I find that it can lead to breakouts in my case. Even so, I've heard feedbacks from others claiming that this brand worked wonderfully for them. I guess, you'll just have to test it out first. Do use a small amount of soap on the inner aspect of your forearm to check if you are allergic or if it has any untoward effect.
Smells really niceAnother wonderful aspect about Silka Papaya that I want to point out is it's incredibly fragrant smell that's quite a treat during bathtime.
The packaging
Silka Papaya soap comes in several sizes. The largest version is 90g and is available in a simple packaging--a soap packed in a fit-sized box cardboard. Meanwhile, the smaller variants is 65g and is encased in sealed plastic.
This herbal soap is available in it's country of origin--Philippines, but you can also find it in international shops like the online shopping site Amazon.
