Is it alright to pour in  milk before water when brewing tea?

I think the majority, aided by common sense, can quickly point out that hot water should be poured in first in a cup to better steep tea bags or tea leaves.

If milk is added first, it will considerably lower the temperature, thus decreasing the strength of the brew. Whether it be earl grey, black tea, or green tea, it's absolute delight to get the most flavor.

However, there is another way of brewing tea wherein you can actually pour in milk into a cup before hot water. That is, if you brew the tea on the tea pot instead of in the cup. So, basically you're just adding in a premade brewed tea into a cup with milk.
