Let's review the natural Sunflower Beauty Oil by the Philippine brand Human Nature.

I've heard a lot of good reviews about this skincare product online so I decided to give my own opinion about it.

Now, this is actually the second bottle that I've purchased, The first one was a 50 ml bottle that costed 175 Philippine pesos, but since I know that it's something that I will use up to the last drop and to save money, I opted to purchase a 100 ml bottle which costs 300 Philippine pesos. So, if you do the math, you save 25 pesos when you purchase the larger bottle.

I got this second sunflower oil online from the popular online shopping site Shoppee from which I've got such a great deal because of the promotional vouchers and free shipping offered on their site. By the way, let me just point out that this is not a sponsored blog post. I purchased this item with my own money.

Anyways, I was a little worried at first, since considering it's a liquidy product, that it might spill during the transit or be squished by some other bulky products being delivered by the courier, but since the shop has a lot of positive reviews, I still proceeded with the order. When the product did arrived, it was in mint condition as it is properly packaged. It did come encased in a fitted cardboard which is again encased in bubble wrap for extra protection.

The packaging

The product comes in a sturdy transparent plastic pump bottle which is filled all the way up to it's neck. Furthermore, it is cylindrical in shape and has a removable cap that encases the white pump. I really like that the exterior is see through because it makes it easy to monitor the level of the sunflower oil inside so you know when you're running low and have to replenish it.

Human Nature Sunflower Oil

The sunflower oil itself is white in color and although, it is technically an oil, let me just point out that it's consistency is very liquidy, unlike thick oils such as castor oil. Furthermore, it gets absorbed easily into the skin and doesn't feel greasy once applied. The oil has a faint fragrant smell. What's more, it's made of premium cosmetic grade sunflower seed oil and doesn't contain any harmful chemicals unlike those other skincare products which are laden with lots of preservatives. Now, I'm not saying that this sunflower oil is superior to those preservative laden beauty products, but what I'm saying is it's nice to give your skin the break that it deserves once in a while.

Versatility

I think one of the best thing about this product, besides it's proven effectiveness, is it's versatility. It can be used on the hair, face, armpits, and body. Moreover, it's famous for it's ability to lighten dark spots, pimple marks, and stretch marks. Also, it can moisturize the face, lighten dark underarms, soften hair, reduce the appearance of stretch marks, and remove make-up.

Isn't that amazing, it gives you a head-to-to beauty coverage.

Another amazing thing about sunflower oil is that is is considered low in comedogenicity which means it is least likely to cause a pimple. However, do note that each person has varying facial composition and flora which means, each one may react differently from this oil.

In my case, I use it a moisturizer, and a potent treatment to get rid of dark spots and even out skin tone, stretch mark, and of course, on my hair to soften, moisturize, and prevent fly away hair.

How to use?

You use about half a pump and gently massage it over your face using your fingertips to create a thin film. I prefer to add an extra amount to cover my neck as well, an area I think a lot of people omit on their skincare routine. You do have to give your neck coverage because that part also tends to show sign of aging if taken for granted.

It leaves the skin feeling soft and adds shine.

When it comes to the body, I apply liberal amounts which is where I use the majority of the product.

My verdict

Oveall, I think Human Nature's Sunflower Oil is such and affordable multi-functional skincare product that is a must have. It's definitely worth it!
