Pencil push up is recommended for individuals suffering from convergence insufficiency, a condition in which eyes turn inward when focusing on a nearby object.

        To do pencil push up?
  1. Hold a pencil vertically with your hand at arm's length in front of you. Make sure the tip of the pencil is at eye level.
  2. Focus at the tip of the pencil as you slowly bring it close to you until your vision of it doubles.
  3. While still focusing at the tip of the pencil, move it back at arm's length.
  4. Rest your eyes by looking at something else  or close your eyes for about 3 seconds.
  5. Repeat for about 15 minutes.
