Here are 3 techniques to naturally manage stress:

1. Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the practice of using plant oils with pleasing scent to relax the senses. It's a popular technique to relieve stress that's relatively inexpensive and convenient. There are a number of ways you can enjoy this soothing alternative medicine. You can put essential oil onto your handkerchief and sniff it. You can add it to your bath water or use commercially available aromatherapy machine to diffuse the aroma into the air.

There are lots of scents marketed like chamomile, rose, eucalyptus, jasmine, lavender, and peppermint. Each has certain therapeutic effect both for the mind and body.

2. Hot bath

At the end a hectic day, one definitely feels burned out. It's even worse when you're already back home but you kept having flashbacks of the mistakes you did or unpleasant situations you've encountered.

Instead of reminiscing about how painful your day went, step into your bathroom. Turn on the hot shower. Make it your night ritual. It's very relaxing to end a day's worth of hard work with a hot bath. Not only does it ease your mind, it also soothes your body, preparing you for a good night's sleep.

If you prefer soaking in a bath tub, add a few drops of your preferred aromatherapy oil for a revitalizing bath.

3. Meditation

Meditation is the practice of clearing off the mind by the act of inducing deep peace. There are different techniques to meditate.

During meditation, the brain is relaxed. Meditation helps relieve stress and anxiety, and improve your mood.

Choose a silent relaxing place.

Focus on your breathing. Empty your thoughts. If you find that your thought keeps wandering into the stress induced by your daily life, counteract it by refocusing your attention into your breathing.

Spending even a couple of minutes meditating can bring positive effects to you.
